The Arwyp maternity department staff members were proud to announce that in January 2012 they did the most deliveries ever done at the hospital. 189 babies were born at Arwyp during the month. NNICU ran at a 140% occupancy and, at times, the maternity ward had up to16 babies. Everyone involved was to be congratulated especially at a time when nursing staff shortages are being experienced countrywide and nurses are having to work harder. Well done to the unit managers in the ward and in the Neonatal ICU and to all the staff members who assisted with the babies.  Baby Boom
