The Arwyp Trauma Unit is dedicated to delivering professional services to our patients and maintaining good working relations with all sectors involved in the trauma process.

Continued training of our staff is paramount to developing skills and staying abreast of new developments. We arranged for a combined training day with the Emergency Medical Technicians from Netcare 911. The aim of the exercise was to establish a protocol regarding handover of patients and initial trauma care. All parties gave their input and common ground was reached regarding the best chain of events following arrival of patients to the unit. A mock-patient scenario played out and served as a platform for in-service training of casualty staff.
